How long is an evaluation?
Comprehensive evaluations are 60-90 minutes depending on your needs. We will discuss your treatment plan and therapy goals specific to your needs after integrating information gathered from your referring practitioner, caregiver (if applicable), interview, clinical observation, and formal assessment.
How long is a therapy session?
Therapy/training sessions are 30-60 minutes in length, depending on your needs. We will always take time to discuss the session, goals, and next steps. Handouts and detailed written instructions will be provided. Practicing exercises and strategies between sessions will ensure you attain your goals.
Why should I choose a private speech therapist?
You can accomplish your goals from the comfort of your own home or office, without having to travel to a hospital or clinic.
Sometimes families prefer more individualized therapy. Some children might not qualify for school-based therapy, even when a disorder/difference exists.
Where are you located?
Evaluation, assessment, and therapy services are provided in NY and PA. On a case by case basis, sessions can be arranged via telehealth, in your home, or office.
Do you accept insurance?
Insurance payments are not accepted at this time; self pay only. Please contact your insurance company to determine eligibility for out-of-network evaluation and/or therapy reimbursement. If your insurance company requests a predetermination note, please ask your referring practitioner. Feel free to request a Good Faith Estimate for the course of treatment.
How do I submit for out-of-network reimbursement?
All necessary documentation will be provided in order for you to submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

What are the payment options?
Cash, checks or direct bank bill payment to Your Voice and Speech accepted. If you prefer, you may pay for multiple sessions in advance. Please inquire about additional payment options.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please do your best to attend all scheduled sessions. If you must cancel, please email at least 24 hours prior to your session. With less than 24 hours notice, a “no show” / cancellation fee will be charged (except in the event of a true emergency, e.g., illness). All efforts will be made to reschedule your session for another day or time, if available.
Do you offer LSVT-LOUD (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) for Parkinson’s Disease and other disorders, and SPEAK OUT!?

Do you offer Manual Therapy?
Yes, I’m trained in different manual therapy modalities. More importantly, you will be taught techniques that you can practice on your own in order to achieve your goals.
